Since taking charge as the Minister of Civil Aviation, my primary emphasis has been on making flying experience more passenger-centric.

Prime Minister Narendramodi Ji’s vision of making air travel accessible and affordable for the common man through the UDAN scheme has been a constant source of inspiration.

One initiative I have taken earlier is the UDAN Yatri Cafe, which offers pocket-friendly menu to passengers, with options like tea for ₹10 and snacks for ₹20. These prices were unheard at the airports.

Another landmark initiative I have launched is the Fare Se Fursat Scheme of Alliance Air. Under this initiative, airfares on select Alliance Air routes will remain fixed, regardless of the booking date, even up to the day of departure:
