Mr DK Shivakumar – CM, Karnataka shared in a Social Media post:
The world is increasingly choosing Karnataka.
Today, I had an engaging interaction with leaders of over 150 Global Capability Centres (GCCs) as part of ‘Katalyst Connect’ – discussing the next chapter of Karnataka’s growth as the GCC Capital of the World.
Also ahead of the strategic consultation, I visited Target in India’s Bengaluru campus and interacted with the company’s leadership and gained insights into the capabilities being built from Karnataka across technology, AI, Finance, and more.
Home to more than 1,100 GCCs, Karnataka has emerged as a global hub for innovation, technology and enterprise. With 30.6% of India’s retail GCC AI talent, our State continues to lead the country’s AI economy.
Our government is committed to attracting 500 new GCCs, creating 3.5 lakh high quality jobs and generating US$50 billion in economic output by 2029 reinforcing Karnataka’s position as the preferred global destination for innovation led growth.
Our Government is committed to creating an ecosystem where innovation thrives, businesses invest with confidence, and every young Kannadiga has access to world-class opportunities. Together, we will shape the future of AI, technology and high-value employment from Karnataka to the world.
