Dignity Through Food: The Anna Bhagya Revolution

As part of our five guarantees, the Congress Government in Karnataka proudly delivers 10 kg of free rice every month under the ‘Anna Bhagya’ scheme.

We believe every life matters and that no one should go to bed hungry. Our goal is simple: to ensure every family can enjoy at least three nutritious meals a day. Thanks to Anna Bhagya, crores of our fellow citizens now sleep with full stomachs and dignity intact.

Today, I personally visited a ration shop to inspect the quality of rice and ragi (millet) being distributed. I spoke with beneficiaries to hear their experiences firsthand.

What I witnessed were smiling faces, blessings, heartfelt gratitude, and a sense of relief that only food security can bring.

We made a promise.
We delivered on it.
